Baked Creamy Country® Bread Bowls

INGREDIENTS
16 oz. Figi's Creamy Country® Spread of your choice
Bread bowl or unsliced bread round
Garnishes - sliced green onion, chopped chives, etc.

 
DIRECTIONS
Carefully carve out the center of the loaf of bread to create a bowl. (Save the center, cutting into cubes to use for dipping into the spread!) Spoon Creamy Country® Spread into center of bread and then place on a baking sheet. Bake at 350° for 15-18 minutes or until bubbly. Garnish with sliced green onion or chopped chives. Serve with crackers, bread or raw vegetables.

Cheese Dip Sandwich

INGREDIENTS
Slices of your favorite bread or sandwich roll
Shaved beef, ham or turkey
Figi's Creamy Country® Spread of your choice

Cheese Dip Sandwich
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 375°. Place both halves of the sandwich on a baking sheet and layer one half with shaved meat. Spread the other half with cheese spread. Bake for 3-5 minutes until cheese is bubbly and bread begins to brown. Add green peppers and onions if desired.

Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms

INGREDIENTS
24 medium mushroom caps
8 oz. Figi's Creamy Country® Roasted Garlic Spread
3 Tbsp. bread crumbs

 
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 375° F. Place mushroom caps hollow side up on a buttered baking sheet. Fill each cap with 2 tsp. Figi's Creamy Country®Roasted Garlic Spread and sprinkle with bread crumbs. Bake 12-15 minutes. Serve hot. Makes 24 appetizers.

Cheesy Pasta or Rice

INGREDIENTS
8 oz. Figi's Creamy Country® Spread of your choice
    (Great with Nacho Jalapeño, Roasted Garlic or Cheddar!)
Pasta or rice prepared according to package instructions

DIRECTIONS
Place spread in microwave-save bowl. Heat on high in ten-second intervals, stirring after each, until spread is warmed through. Pour melted spread over warm pasta or rice for an instant side dish. Add in cooked meat or vegetables for a main dish!

Fabulous Fiesta Dip

INGREDIENTS
8 oz. Figi's Creamy Country® Spread of your choice
1/3 cup diced onion
1 tsp. olive oil
2 medium tomatoes seeded and chopped
1 small can chopped green chilies
5 oz. pkg. frozen spinach, thawed and well drained
4 oz. Monterey Jack Cheese, coarsely grated
16 oz. Figi's Nacho Jalapeño Creamy Country® Spread
1 oz. sliced ripe olives, drained
Blue and yellow tortilla corn chips
Fabulous Fiesta Dip
DIRECTIONS
Cook onion in olive oil in skillet over medium heat for 5 minutes or until tender. Add tomatoes and chilies; cook 2 minutes. Transfer mixture to a large bowl; add spinach, cheese, Creamy Country® Spread, and olives. Stir well. Serve with chips.

Garlic Bruchetta

INGREDIENTS
8 oz Figi's Creamy Country® Roasted or Creamy Country® Garden Spread
12 Slices of French Bread (1/4 inch thick)
1 1/4 cup Fresh Tomato, Chopped and Seeded
1/4 cup Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese
1/4 cup Fresh, Chopped Parsley or Basil

Garlic Bruchetta
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 400° F. Spread 1 tbs. of Figi's Creamy Country® Roasted or Garden Spread on each slice of bread. Top each slice with 1 1/2 tbs. of chopped tomatoes and 1 tbs. of parmesan cheese. Place bruschetta on a cookie sheet and bake for 5-6 minutes. Garnish with parsley and serve as an appetizer.
Makes: 12 Appetizers.

Garlic Chicken Pizza

INGREDIENTS
8 oz. Figi's Roasted Garlic Creamy Country® Spread
12" round pre-baked crust
1 cup chopped cooked chicken breast
1/4 cup chopped green onion tops
8 oz. shredded mozzarella cheese

DIRECTIONS
Spread Creamy Country® Cheese Spread on crust. Top with cooked chicken breast, green onions, and mozzarella. Bake according to instructions on pizza crust package.

Peppery Potluck Squares

INGREDIENTS
Cornmeal
2 cups (8 ounces) Figi's Sharp Cheddar Cheese, shredded
1 cup (4 ounces) Figi's Cheddar Creamy Country® Cheese Spread
1 cup (3 ounces) Parmesan Cheese, grated
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, dried oregano, cumin, (Cayenne pepper, to taste.)
4 eggs, beaten
1 jar (2 ounces) pimentos, diced
1 can (4 ounces) jalapeño peppers, drained and chopped

Peppery Potluck Squares
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350°F. Sprinkle cornmeal in buttered 9-inch square pan, coating pan well. Cream cheeses until well-blended; add garlic powder, oregano and cumin. Beat in eggs. Stir in pimentos and jalapeños. Add cayenne pepper; mix ingredients well. Spread mixture in pan, Bake 30 minutes.

Tortilla Roll-Ups

INGREDIENTS
24 large (10 inches each) flour tortillas
1 quart (2 pounds) Figi's Nacho Jalapeño Creamy Country® Cheese Spread
3 pounds chicken pieces, cooked and shredded
3 cups prepared mild salsa
1 quart red bell pepper, seeded and diced
1/2 cups scallions or green onions, sliced

Tortilla Roll-Ups
DIRECTIONS
Spread each tortilla with 2 to 3 tablespoons Figi's Nacho Jalapeño Creamy Country® Cheese Spread. In a bowl, toss chicken with salsa, red pepper and scallions. Spoon 1/2 cup mixture into each tortilla. Roll up tightly. Serve each with black bean salad, salsa and jalapeños. Garnish with guacamole and Sour Cream, if desired.
