Holiday Butter Stollen
My husband and I especially like the stollen toasted with butter. Reminds me of the bread my sister's mother-in-law made from scratch during the holidays. Hope it's always available.

When received the dough was dry and hard. I felt I wasted my money. Because of the holiday it took very long being delivered.

This was such a great stolen...
Your stolen is back to the original, excellant bread that we have been purchasing for years. Last year the recipe must have been changed because it was dry and feel apart...this year it is back to the best we can get from anywhere else.
Thank you...we will continue to purchase your stolen....this year we purchased four of the large ones....my mother purchased four also and my brothers purchased some as well. We love it. My mother is German and she knows what good stolen tastes like.

this product was not good
The stolen was stale and fell apart and had no flavor. It was far too expensive too for what I received.

Not to bad
I liked the taste of this stolen.
Its a little pricey,they should lower the price or offer free shipping.
Other than that its pretty good,I finished it of in only 2 sessions with coffee.I had the 1lb stolen.

I am sorry to say but I didn't care for the stolen that I received as it just had nuts and raisins and had the powder on top. My stolen didn't have the red, or green or yellow fruit fillings in it as it was mostly plain. It tasted like lemon in the whole cake and that is why I didn't really care for it. I had only one small piece and gave the rest to my sister. She said it was okay. If they had made it more like the fruit cake without the nuts then it would have tasted better. Mine didn't even have the butter taste to it. Thanks anyway. Would not recommend this item.

Just Like Mom's!
Glad you brought back the original recipe. Tastes just like Mom's home made. I could tell something was "off" about last years recipe, but chalked it up as just me. This year, it tastes like the stollen from Figis that I knew and loved so much from past years. Why was it changed in the first place?! Don't fix something that isn't broke!! This is perfection and the recipe should remain the same forever!
