I love mince meat tarts I was not able to make them this year so I order them, but did not like them because there was to mush crust and not enough filling.jmy098

An Acquired Taste?
I made the mistake of anticipating the taste I remember from my childhood, even though Texas is a far cry from Scotland. The look is the same but the taste is not. It may be an acquired taste, so I held off rating until we finished the second box.
Nope, not the mince meat taste I remember. Try at your own risk. You may like it!

Very good, but.....
This mince product is good but really doesn't taste much like mince pie as advertised. It's a little flat. Not sure I'd pay full price for it. Your products are good but for "traditional" ones such as this not quite up to what I expected.

I have not had these in years so was glad to see them at Figis, they Taste Great but the only problem I saw with them is that there is to much crust and not enough filling (mince meat).I Like them so much that I had to order more for myself I ordered 12 of them and are ordering another 12 for myself.I would highly recommend to anyone they only take seconds in the microwave to heat them.

Mince the prince!
I bought these for my Dad, as a belated Christmas gift, as he loves Mince pie, but couldn't find any mince pies in the stores. So - when I saw the tarts, I thought "why not". I'm SO glad I did, as he loves them. They came in two boxes of 6 tarts....total 12 tarts....and he had two of them on the first day. He said they are so YUMMY, and I thought he wanted to have a third, but he's savoring them now. He warmed them in the microwave about 15 seconds, and said it was just right!

A little too much shortcake but tasty
First time I tried these and they were quite nice. Very very sweet but definitely a Christmas treat.
