The best fruitcake ever! I purchased my first Grandma's Fruitcake last Christmas. I could not believe that any company these days, would put so many fruits and nuts in a fruitcake. It was moist and extremely delicious. I purchased another fruitcake for Christmas in July. I ate so much of it that it only lasted two days. I thought I had the patients to wait until Christmas to purchase another, but I could not wait. I just ordered a third fruitcake. August 8, 2014
Fruitcake (Dry) I bought myself a fruitcake for Mother's Day, because I have had Figi's fruitcake before and it was amazing. This time, however, it was really dry, which took away from the amazing-ness, I'm afraid. It was still pretty good, though it kept crumbling apart. Still tasty, but I was a little bit disappointed. I'll try again sometime. May 29, 2014
Moist and Delicious!! I don't normally like fruitcakes, but I fell in love with Grandma's fruitcake 30 years ago. I thought the company had gone out of business and was very excited to find that Figi's carried it. Now, I buy it by the ring and even send it to my mother-in-law who loves it, too. I would recommend this fruitcake to anyone who wants a cake that is very moist, full of nuts and fruit. Figi's does not skimp with this cake. May 7, 2014
Not for this Fruitcake Lover I bought based on reviews seen on line. I knew this was not for me upon opening it. The color was pale and unappetizing and the consistency was sort of gummy. It tasted more like a rancid confection than a fine baked product. My wife hated it upon first bite and would not eat a second time. I gave it a couple of tries and ultimately doused it with more whiskey hoping to improve it. It just got more gummy and worse tasting. Today I threw away about 2 1/4 lbs of the 3 pounder I bought. I have purchased high-quality cakes from many sources for decades and this one stands out - at the bottom of the list. March 19, 2014
Delicious! my family and I think this is the best fruitcake we've ever eaten. someone complained there's too much liquor in it; but we want to taste the brandy and rum! don't change a thing with the ingredients. In fact, we'll reorder this fruitcake later this year. Can't wait until next Christmas to enjoy it again. March 6, 2014
The very best fruitcake ever. Finally found our dream Fruitcake. For years I have tried to find a fruitcake like grama would bring home from Boston and Figi's has it. We can't praise it enough. Thank you Figi's...XO February 28, 2014
Best fruit cake I ever had The fruit cake is very moist. Lots of cherries.I like all of the ingredients. February 22, 2014
Very disappointing The cake was moist but that is about the only plus it had. The liquor taste just overrode everything else and I am usually a fan of fruitcake with bourbon or brandy in it but not this one. I thought I would try it and now I have and I won't again. I'm back to my regular fruitcake supplier and won't be changing again. If I could rate it a -star I would. February 21, 2014
